Business Development Executive

​​Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive with 3–4 years of experience to join our manufacturing-led corporate gifting company. You will be responsible for expanding our market presence by pitching high-quality, in-house manufactured wood-based products, including wooden calendars, customized awards, and premium wooden stationery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and a deep understanding of the corporate gifting landscape. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Acquisition: Proactively identify and acquire new corporate clients across sectors like IT, BFSI, FMCG, and Hospitality through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

  • Sales & Pitching: Create and present customized proposals, concepts, and luxury product pitches, Showcase the value of our in-house manufactured wood products, specifically highlighting the craftsmanship of wooden calendars, awards, and sustainable wood materials.

  • Client Engagement: Conduct needs assessments for HR, Marketing, and Admin teams to provide customized gifting solutions for employee recognition, festive occasions, and client appreciation.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers to ensure repeat business and high client retention.

  • Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales lifecycle—from initial outreach and proposal drafting to contract negotiation and closing high-value deals.

  • Relationship Building: Maintain long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals.

  • Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with in-house design and production teams to ensure customized wooden products meet client specifications and are delivered on time.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide weekly reports on pipeline health, sales forecasts, and market feedback. 

 

Requirements

  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the corporate gifting or luxury merchandise sector.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Network: An existing network of HR and Procurement contacts is highly desirable.

  • Product Knowledge: Passion for design-led manufacturing and an understanding of the aesthetic and functional value of wood-based products. 
     

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • New corporate account acquisition targets (monthly/quarterly).

  • Revenue growth from the B2B manufacturing vertical.

  • Client retention ratio and repeat orders for annual products like wooden calendars.
